Chris Keane's home baking

Chris Keane's home baking is a stall which offers a combination of traditional Irish baking and popular Australian recipes. Chris who came to live in Ballyvaughan from Melbourne 20 years ago, when she married a local farmer, brought with her plenty of recipes gathered from her mother and both grandmothers.
Her stall includes traditional brown soda bread and a variety of cakes such as Coffee, Chocolate, Rhubarb and Carrot cake. Alongside her Almond and Pear flan you will find her very popular and more exotic cakes like Tunisian Citrus cake. Chris also offers a variety of muffins and Anzac biscuits which are always a great favourite with Australians!
For a savoury treat you will also find Quiche by the slice. The stall is popular with those who like to picnic as all the cakes are sold by the slice.
It is pleasing to know that the convenience of the market encourages customers to move from stall to stall gathering up a variety of delicious goodies for lunch finishing up with a slice of Chris’ cake or some biscuits for dessert.
