Clareville House Kitchen Garden

Clareville House Kitchen Garden

Clareville house Kitchen Garden

We use organic methods in maintaining the garden and growing. For those of you wondering what a kitchen garden is; the best description is that it is a place to grow the things you bring into the kitchen--herbs, vegetables, fruits and berries, and even the cutting flowers for your table. This produce from the garden is sold at Ballyvaughan Farmer’s Market during the season. We have an orchard and are developing it, a wide range of vegetables, herbs and soft fruit on 1 acre and a haggard of approx 1/4 acre. Produce yoghurt and cream products. We maintain about another 10 acres where we keep horses. In winter, with our store of vegetables, herbs and organic fruit sourced abroad and from organic growers in Co. Clare and Galway, we produce sweet Preserves, Dressings & Sauces.
