Linalla Ice Cream

Brid & Roger Fahy and their family started selling Linnalla Ice Cream in the Ballyvaughan Farmers Market in the summer of 2006.
Brid says “Our business has grown from strength to strength since then. As a family we all love coming to the market on a Saturday selling some ice cream and to buy other delicious products. We try each week to have one or two different flavours along with the regulars of Vanilla, Mint, Chocolate and Strawberry on the menu”.
Maire Fahy, who is 16 years old loves to see the Honeycomb. Padraig, aged 15 years loves the Linnalla Rocher while Tomas, 12 years old begs every week to put Bubble Gum on the menu which is his favourite. One week soon he will get his wish and it will be available to all. Roger is a Vanilla man while Brid loves Raspberry Sorbet. The Fahy’s have great discussions on a Friday night on this subject. They all take turns to go to the Saturday market and all enjoy the experience. It has proved to be a great way to develop this family business as it encourages interaction with other stall holders and customers alike.
