Mary Lynch's Cake and Crumbs

Mary Lynch, Home Economics teacher, is one of the many community producers in County Clare to offer all sorts of local goods for the weekly Ballyvaughan Farmers Market.

She specialises in nutritious food and can be found each Saturday at her stall "Cake and Crumbs", where her table groans underneath the wholesome cookery laid out for sale.

Every week she churns out nutritious brown breads, scones, variety breads, jams, marmalades and delectable confectionery,  from Apple Fudge Cake, Carrot Cake and Plum Tart to Strawberry Shortcake Tartlets, to name but a few.

All her produce is good quality food at affordable prices, made from the highest quality ingredients. For example, the organic rhubarb and strawberries for her home-made tarts and jams are bought fresh from other producers at the Market.
She puts huge emphasis on the quality of her food, but there's always a great quantity as well!
